Repair Cracked and Broken Concrete (Easy DIY) || Garage Floor
Nice work! Zero seams is still better and worth the extra time. Plus when you have that many miters coming together you overdose on endorphins and dopamine when it all comes together
Im all for the endorphins and dopamine, lol
If you’re miter folding plywood use a track saw! You don’t have to worry about the imperfections in the plywood not providing you a clean rip like you do on a table saw. A track will bow with the wood and if it’s crooked or out of square you can easily account for that too. Pushing a big awkward 8 foot sheet of plywood is physically much more work than pushing a track saw as well.
Nice tip! Thank you 👍
The ONLY thing I care about in a sander is what can remove material faster. Compared to the 5 inch variable speed DeWalt for under $100, does the festool do anything more? Does it spin significantly faster or vibrate more?
I’m really not sure, but it does remove material very quickly 👌
good job,like
Thank you!
Why’d you quit RUclips? Love your channel and I hope you come back!
I didn’t quit, just a little break 😁 Be back soon!
Floating shelves should be thin. Look at the shelves of a standard bookshelf. 3/4” or 1” max. Bigger than that and you are making a mantle.
It’s a matter of preference 👍
Doesn’t have to be an expensive SawStop..k. Revenue a cheaper One will work. Get a beginner Skill portable. Only couple hundred…it will do a great job…
Absolutely 👍
How is this holding up three years later ?
Still perfect, zero cracks 👌
@@EverydayBuilds sweet !
😁
Thoughts on the Woodpeckers StealthStop thus far? I just got mine in preparation for finishing my miter station. All 4 of the red stops had micro cracks in them out of the package. Basically from the set screw to the end of that section. Have you had any issues?
I did not have that issue. I love them! Great for repeatable cuts 👍
how are the shelfs attached to the brackets?
Pin nails through the top or bottom 👍
Pinch Dogs are good, but another way is to pre-assemble one entire run using the Kreg jig.
Absolutely 👍
The only issue with adding baseboard to Wainscotting is where it meets the door casing and unless you have added a back band to the casing, it doesn't really work.
Yeah, in that case I wouldn’t do the additional casing. Just have the 1x go down to the floor 👍
Sorry, but that product is wayyy over priced.
It is, but time is also money 💰
very impressed dude..nice job!!!
Thank you 🙏
Nice. Good job man!
Thank you 🙏
Nice video.
Thank you 🙏
Very nice! 🫵
Thank you 🫵
I have an old building, roughly 75-80 yrs old. When there is a saturating rain and ground is saturated, water will come up through the concrete floor and then will leave the same way. Question is, can that be repaired by covering it with a coat of thin concrete or does it have to be taken out and replaced with new? I’m looking for a cost effective way to fix it. Thanks
I have no idea. I’m definitely no concrete expert. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.
Valve is useless buried in the wall.
Agreed
amature
Correct 👍
Thanks for the tips, great video! I was wondering if you have any experience with using rubio on softwoods like speuce or pine? That what my project is made of and I've seen a complaint on reddit about rubio causing uneven staining quite easy.
I have only ever used it on oak and walnut. So I couldn’t say.
The music is overpowering
Sorry, it was the first video I made. I’ve learned much more sense then 😁
Looks great Jordan, the only thing I would say is the laminate on your track needs to be beveled to the height of the track. That’s a catching point if you slide timber that’s slightly bowed. Nice job 👌🏻🇦🇺
That’s a great point! Thank you for your input🙏
Is it possible to do this with a hand router, or you really need the stability of a router table?
I don’t think I would try it without a router table
great video
Thank you 🙏
I don’t think this is the way to do it. You did not apply the upper coat. There are two different coatings done with two different products.
I followed the instructions 🤷🏻♂️
Do you have plans for sale?
I do not, sorry
I am looking at trying out the Stealth Stop system too. How close to the thickness of the 1/2 inch MDF is the track? Did you find not having a piece of laminate under the track to be an issue or did you prefer having the track recessed a bit instead of flush?
I really liked that the track was slightly recessed under the laminate. I love this system 👍
@@EverydayBuilds nice to hear. Do you ever have issues with pieces you are cutting catching on the mdf because the track is recessed? I was considering putting a strip of laminate under the track to make it flush with the top.
How long of a working time does the Rubio have once the 2 parts are combined?
4 hours I believe 👍
@@EverydayBuilds Thanks! I will be using Rubio for the first time this week.
I don't see why you are getting so much hate. I do believe festool is overcharging for their system design but i also can see that they are slightly more convenient than anyone else which is why if i sanded for a living or sanded regularly i would definitely invest in it even if it's a bit of a robbery.
Absolutely 👍
I understand. Festool is good for all RUclipsrs.
Thank you..
You’re welcome!
Thank you Mr Jordan
You’re welcome!
I want to treat. White oak cabinets but dont want the raw colour of the eood to change! Which product will be best to use?
Rubio Pure or Osmo Clear 👍
I've been a builder all my life but over 50 homes and learned all the trades, l laugh at these people making vedios, like this guy
Typical boomer mentality. Thanks for contributing nothing. Move along now 👍
@@EverydayBuilds LoL,, typical millennium just can never get enough attention and can't handle rejection. l usually don't comment but your know it all attitude was too much.
Yeah sooooo easy!!!!…..all I need to do is build myself a fully decked out work shop…… soooo simple
Yep! Simple as that, lol
Nice build I feel like that reciprocal was pretty high
Thank you! I wanted the outlet just above the tv mount. 👍
@@EverydayBuilds ohh that makes sense
@@EverydayBuilds I’m in the AV industry I know some homeowners put TVs above fireplaces all the time but sometimes the tv is up higher than anticipated and then call back to bring the TV lower.
The maintenance oil only comes in 3 options. White, black, or pure. How do you know which one to get?
The way I see it, you pick the maintenance oil that matches the base tone of your finish. If your finish has more of an amber tone, go with the pure maintenance oil. If the finish has a lighter white tone, go with the white maintenance oil. And if the finish is dark/black, go with the black. 👍
I agree with you on the drum sander. I've used mine four times and had the same issues and frustrations you mentioned. I want to sell mine too. What did you sell yours for (ballpark)? #totaltegrettool
I think I got around $1500 for it.
I have that claw horse and I only ides it once! Total waste
I loved your floating shelf but the finish you chose seemed a lack luster. Hope you liked it. I appreciated all the info in this short video. Tks
This definitely wasn’t my favorite color for walnut. I much prefer Rubio pure.
Wow!! U amke it look so easy
Why thank you 🙏
is there a finish....the best part...lol

You're a ninja, amazing job! #goals
Thank you 🙏 🥷
You said the ratio of 1:2 vs 1:3 doesn't matter. Sorry, but that is incorrect. The ratio hugely affects curing time.
It is 1:3 and you are correct
I don't see the point in using both.
Yeah, just paste wax would suffice 👌
😮
Young man. You know , what you are doing. Lovely equiipment in your workplace. Big envy. .
Thank you 🙏
Love the concept and design. I plan to try this out on a small shelf for my son's room to keep his Xbox. If it works, I will build 4 large ones for my fireplace built-ins.
Good luck with your build! 🤙
I am little confused. Where did you put the filters on the front or on the back of the fan?
Back, so it pulls the air through the filters
